Bathroom Tiling

We had never done any tiling before so after a great deal of prayer and research we went after it.  Krista was the architect and put up the tile.  Josh did the cutting of the tile.  Together we made a great team and finished this huge part of the bathroom project.  Even though we feel like professionals now, we are not hiring ourselves out...sorry.

This is one of the shelves that was put in.

Krista picked out the design to go around the top.  The color scheme in the bathroom looks great!

Dad's Projects

Dad K. was very busy while visiting us.  Below are several of the projects he tackled.

Doors work much better!

A shelf for our cabinet.  Now we have more countertop space!

Footing for clothesline.
We have a clothesline!!!

Thanks Dad for all your help!  We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Grandpa K and Titus

Dad K. (now Grandpa K.) visited and enjoyed time with Titus.  We liked these three pictures of the two of them together.

Titus at 1 month+

Titus has been less content lately as he approaches the two month fussy stage...we still love him.  He continues to enjoy being held by everyone which is good because everyone has held him. :)

What is that noise?

Titus and his bear.

Dad does a good job getting the burps out.

Fence Project!

After several weeks of putting in posts, cutting fence, and bolting them in, Krista has a garden!

Members of the family.

Our 2 dogs have welcomed Titus into the family.  They love being inside on rainy days.  Miriam was very curious as I took pictures of her.  Moses on the other hand does not like the flash of cameras and every time he saw me point the camera his direction went and hid.

Miriam proudly poses for a portrait.

Moses prefers to avoid pictures and had to be bribed for this picture. Note his discontented look saying "Let's get this over with so I can have my cracker."

What IS that thing?

Can I lick it?

Linoleum in Bathroom-Laying

Laying linoleum is not as easy as it looks!

Creativity in a pinch!

Look at that floor!

Linoleum in Bathroom-Cutting

Krista found some leftover linoleum and after several measurements (geometry at its best) had it ready for installment.

Project- Electrical

Dad S. (now Grandpa S.) was here toward the end of May.  He helped us with many projects!  Below are some pictures of what we accomplished.

Lots of these were put in with GFCI connections.

Improvements to this circuit breaker along with the one outside made our house a much safer place for us to live.  Thanks Dad for all your help!
